When a light pierces the darkness…

When a light pierces the darkness…

Some will complain of the pain of change and their eyes adjusting.

Some will freeze in fear of the unknown.

Some will know what it is or decide that they know the unknown is scary and scurry away — for it’s safer to hide in the unchanging dark.

Some will adjust and see the illuminated path ahead and walk towards their next evolution and expansion

Then, what is our job as the leader?

As Artist & Muse?

Dimming the light for those complaining, diminishes the effectiveness & dilutes the purpose of the light

Running towards those scurrying away in hopes to help them see, only chases them deeper into the darkness

And do we wait for those frozen to unfreeze & delay the expansion of those ready to walk now?

I still stand by my belief that our role as an Artist & Muse is to be the lighthouse for those ready to explore new paths that is now illuminated for them.

No chasing needed.

No defending or persuading required.

No diminishing the fullness of the message & art

But I also find myself expanding my beliefs that there will be Muses who are called to work with the others.

To heal the fear.

To coax with gentleness.

To sit patiently with them in the dark.

The real question is knowing what YOU are called to do.

Whom you’re being a light for & being willing to leave the others behind (& trust that their Muse will find them at the right time)

Then, it’s clearer what flavour of “the work” is for you to do. The mindset work. The emotional & energetic work. The actual art making work. Spiritual & soulful work.

You feel me?
