💖IT IS NOT ENOUGH💖

Don’t get me wrong! I love my kids, they are loves of my life. If you see behind closed doors the sacrifice & struggle -
that’s not even the question

But
It is not enough. 

You are a creation. A masterpiece. Child of God. And you were made for a purpose. Feeling fulfilled, empowered & joyful means fulfilling that purpose. 

Mine is more than being a mum 

I’m a better mum when I leave them behind to get my work done

I’m a better mum when I miss out on play time & quality 1:1 time to journal and paint

I’m a better mum when I sleep in instead of going to the park.

I’m a better mum when I model a fulfilled, joyful & empowered woman instead of an exhausted & depleted one. 

I come back with a full cup that is overflowing which helps me fill theirs. 

It’s actually easier & more Joyful!

Instead of trying to catch up, running on fumes and guilt. 

It isn’t fair to treat your kids like vessels for your fulfilment. 

Mothering may be part of your purpose, yes absolutely. It’s a privilege & sacred role! 

But the pressure put on them to give me a FULL-filled life?
That is MY job! To acknowledge when it isn’t enough. 

NOT THAT THEY are not enough - they are plenty and overflowing with all they are meant to be

NOT THAT I’M NOT ENOUGH - because in my true heart where soul & spirit reside, I know I am. 

But the ‘work’ of mothering, of child caring, is NOT enough

You want a fulfilled life? Where life is FULL & FILLED with purpose and joy?

KNOW when you’re trying to draw that fulfilment from the wrong thing

KNOW when you’re forgetting yourself - YOUR heart, YOUR needs, YOUR spirit and connection to your purpose. 

See the FULL picture - it’s so easy when you’re in the trenches with little kids to forget the forrest you’re in.

When all you see is this one ginormous tree you’re trying to climb up. 
With your hands. While holding your babies

Then you can release that pressure on them. 

Or whatever else you’ve been trying to make your purpose... and it keeps coming up short. 

Your job you find ok? But you know it’s fear & complacency that keeps you there

Your partner? ‘you complete me...’ can be so damaging

Your house? What do you think you will gain on the other side of making it clean & magazine worthy?

RELEASE IT & acknowledge that IT IS NOT ENOUGH 

Focus on what you NEED
To claim your heart, your soul, your calling

AND FIND THAT PATH to your ENOUGH

It’s most likely a bigger, richer tapestry of all those things you ALREADY HAVE & that one small thing your inner voice is whispering to you. 

Dare to take that seriously - and take one small baby step towards it TODAY
