In life, there are markers that stamp a moment in time where you felt a distinct growth or change in direction. 

This is one of those markers for my art practice and future body of work.

This is an artwork that is close to my heart, as it marks an internal shift and distinct new level I felt my artistic practice had achieved.

It was also created just before I found out I was pregnant, so the connection of future change, new level of lifestyle and hope of dreams achieved was significant.

The sense of new life and rebirth that many viewers have told me of this piece is most likely a reflection of that time

• Gallery wrapped cotton canvas. The sides have been painted black. Ready to be framed - or I will wire it ready for hanging + paint the sides black if you prefer. Let me know your preference.

• Glossy Varnish (which gives the colours an amazing depth + protects the painting, though I would not recommend hanging it in direct sunlight -- that will make the painting sad & fade.)
