Raindrops & Resonance

This is the painting equivalent of a 10 volume saga of heroes & villains, triumph and tragedy.
There is so many details that leads to the next while also hinting at layers underneath

She’s a statement of expansion and surrender. There are little bursts of life & renewal with the tension of clearing away that a thunderstorm can bring

She simultaneously reminds me of the joy of singing with my children in delight at rainy puddles, while also instantly bringing me to torrential rain of tears over the sorrow when I lost my grandmother

Painting details:

• Size: 80cm (w) x 100cm (h)

• Gallery wrapped cotton canvas.  Framed in  natural oak. (add approximately 1cm to the size on all sides) 

• Please allow 2-3 weeks for framing! (If you prefer no frames or a different colour, send me an email to organise with me!)

• Satin Gloss Varnish (which gives the colours an amazing depth + protects the painting, though I would not recommend hanging it in direct sunlight -- that will make the painting sad & fade.)
