She’s a statement of expansion and surrender. There are little bursts of life & renewal with the tension of clearing away that a thunderstorm can bring

She simultaneously reminds me of the joy of singing with my children in delight at rainy puddles, while also instantly bringing me to torrential rain of tears over the sorrow when I lost my grandmother

• Gallery wrapped cotton canvas. Framed in natural oak. (add approximately 1cm to the size on all sides) 

• Satin Gloss Varnish (which gives the colours an amazing depth + protects the painting, though I would not recommend hanging it in direct sunlight -- that will make the painting sad & fade.)
